Section B
Welsh Pony
"Benlea Euraid Rambler"

Rambler is an eye-catching palomino Section B
stallion with four white stockings and a blaze.
Standing 12.1 hands as a 2 year old,
he was purchased as a cross for our larger warmblood mares in the
sportpony
breeding project.

Rambler's pedigree
is a 'who's who' of the hunter pony world, with both his sire and his grandsire
being well up on the USEF leading sire lists for many years.
His sire,
Benlea Rambler is currently listed as #9 on the USEF
leading sire list. He is the sire of Benlea Playboy,
shown as Pony Dot Com, the USAEq reserve National Champion Small Hunter Pony in
2001 and National Champion Small Hunter Pony in 2002. His sire's dam, Duntulm's
Waltzing Matilda, is a full sister to Duntulm's Pride of Erin, shown as
Snowgoose, who was many times Horse of the Year and champion medium hunter for
the Chapot's.

While he has the
pedigree to produce outstanding hunter prospects, he also shows considerable
potential for dressage, with animated movement that should work well in crosses
to warmblood and sportpony mares. I would expect these crosses to produce both
eventing and dressage prospects for the small adult rider as well as competitive
youth riders. Because of his age, we are not expecting foals by him in 2012, but
will be breeding him to one or two Kaleidoscope mares for 2013
foals.
Rambler will be standing to limited outside mares for the 2012
season, live cover or on farm A.I. We may offer shipped semen for the 2012
breeding season as well, but availability will not be confirmed until early spring. Please contact us for updates on this.
Stud fee will be
$300 for the 2012 season, plus mare care and on farm expenses. If shipped semen
is available, collection and shipping expenses will be in addition to the stud
fee.
