PIKOR

Pikor is a Class I German Trakehner/Rhinelander Stallion. He is 16.1 hands high, and was foaled December 26, 1974, he is a flashy dark bay with white on all 4 legs and an irregular star. His name roughly translates to Card Shark. He was imported to Canada in October of 1983. Pikor is a son of Donauwind and is half brother to Abdullah, the 1984 Olympic and World Championships Team Gold and Individual Silver Medalist in both, and Leading Horse in the World Championships. Pikor is a Grand Prix Dressage horse with scores in the 60's and 70's. He has also been successfully shown in 3 day eventing in the United States and Canada. He is a proven producer of jumpers. He has a great temperament and has been used a school horse for teaching ages 14 on up the upper level dressage techniques. His offspring inherit his movement and great athletic abilities. They are easy to train and make excellent jumpers and are great movers.

Pedigree: Pikor is by Donauwind out of Peggi 218 by Altan. Donauwind, the most sought after Trakehner sire of the 80's, is by great stallion Pregel out of the famous mare Donaulied vom Schimmelhof.
