WELTSTERN

WELTSTERN

WELTSTERN is an extremely correct and well-bred Oldenberg stallion licensed and approved Oldenberg in Germany, Oldenberg/ISR approved in the U.S. His pedigree is extremely valuable, going back to such prolific stallions as Ferdinand, Don Carlos, Furioso II and Absatz. His sire, WeltAs, sired numerous quality offspring, including Leroy Brown, a member of the 1992 German Olympic God Medal showjumping team and Anky von Grunsven's gelding Bonfire, multiple World Cup dressage winner and multiple medal winner for several Netherlands Olympic teams. WeltAs was also named the top producing dressage sire in both 1995 and 1996. Weltstern's offspring include sons who have passed the ISR stallion testing, the first being Weltseiger, plus provisionally licensed sons Wradar, owned by Woodridge Farm and West Point, owned by Melinda Walton, now in the 1998 stallion testing; and fillies such as Weltgraefin, bred by Eleanor Eltoft, who received a 9.0 at her ISR inspection. He is exceptional for his extravagent movement and his ability to transmit this movement to his offspring, as well as his willing, loving disposition, which makes him a joy to handle on the ground or under saddle.

Weltstern will still be standing in Virginia at Corinth Hill farm, at Fork Union, VA, with Barbara Heslop.
